This will be the second time that the promotion will take place; on June 5, a total of 73 vaccines had been administered.

It will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Mountain Recreation Complex in Essex County Zoo, 560 Northfield Avenue, West Orange.

Visitors can receive a voucher if they receive their first dose of vaccine. The voucher can be used until September 1, 2021. No appointment is necessary. Pfizer and J&J vaccines will be administered. People aged 18 and over are eligible to receive the J&J vaccine. People 12 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine. Visitors returning to receive their second dose of the vaccine are not eligible for free admission.

There is no reimbursable cost to receive the vaccine. However, if someone has medical insurance, Essex County is allowed to charge the insurance company a fee of $ 40 for each dose of vaccine. If a visitor does not have medical insurance, the cost of the vaccine will be covered by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Provider Relief Fund.
